History
The first Coke bottle appeared on the Croatian market back in 1968 (17 September), on the production line of the bottling plant at Sachsova street in Zagreb. The bottling plant was practically located on a meadow back then. Over the next years,
Coca-Cola changed its ownership structure – from being owned by the former socialist government, to being owned by private capital today.
The changes after privatization over the past ten years have been particularly intense. New investments in the development of the market resulted in the construction of the bottling plant in Solin, which was completed within ten months in 1996. The consolidation of the company was completed in 2000, and today Coca-Cola HBC Croatia is part of the world's second largest bottler company for non-alcoholic beverages outside the United States, i.e. Coca-Cola Hellenic.
Coca-Cola and its trademark are an irreplaceable part of Croatian day-to-day life thanks to our long-standing communication with our consumers. Croatian people drink an average of 130 bottles of products of The Coca-Cola Company each a year.
We are proud to say that Coca-Cola HBC Croatia is the leader on the Croatian market in terms of non-alcoholic beverages.
