Triple acknowledgement for Coca-Cola HBC Croatia for student support

The Student Association of the University of Zagreb awarded the company for investing in student associations and projects and for participating in such projects, and Coca-Cola was also awarded the honorary Grand Prix

Zlatni indeks 2010 At yesterday’s award ceremony for the Zlatni indeks 2010, which eSTUDENT, the Student Association of the University of Zagreb, awards to companies which invested the most in students in the past year, Coca-Cola HBC Croatia won awards in as many as three categories. It was acknowledged as a company which invested the most in student associations and projects in 2010, while it was also rewarded for partaking in student projects organized by students and student associations.

Considering that it received awards in multiple categories, Coca-Cola HBC Croatia also received the Grand Prix award.

“We have reason to celebrate threefold, all three awards confirm that students, the professional public and our partners have once again recognized our activities and efforts to establish quality and innovative collaboration with students and young people, and that they have recognized the support we provide to include them in our business operations. We are also pleased that we were awarded within the framework of a project which supports excellence and the entrepreneurial spirit of students and companies, which are also the basic values of Coca-Cola. This acknowledgement encourages us to further invest in student projects, which we will continue supporting with pleasure”, said Tanya Šplajt-Brainović, the director of the Human Resources Department of Coca-Cola HBC Croatia.

Companies and institutions which partake in student lives with their work and activities in any way, which support the activities of associations or partake in some of their projects are awarded the Zlatni indeks. At the same time, the attention of company’s is drawn to various manners in which they can support students and their education and work. The organizer of the project is the student association eSTUDENT, which was founded to bring together the best students of the University of Zagreb with the best companies which are doing business in Croatia, while the project is co-organized by the Student Assembly of the University of Zagreb, ELSA (European Law Student Association), the Financial Club, IAAS (International Association of Students in Agricultural and Related Sciences), the “TIM” association, the Student Section of the Croatian Physicians’ Assembly and EMSA (European Medical Students’ Association).
