Engaging with our stakeholders
We can only be successful if we consult widely with our stakeholders, listen to their concerns and work collaboratively.
These stakeholders are the people on whom we have the greatest impact -- or who have the greatest impact on us. They include: suppliers, customers, non-government organisations (NGOs), government, consumers and local communities among others. We learn from these groups in a variety of ways: from meetings to formal surveys of employees, customers, and others.
Working in partnership
Increasingly, we are working together on social and environmental issues with partnerships to address issues of shared concern.
Our most longstanding partnership is the Green Danube. This award-winning partnership with the International Commission for the Protection of the Danube River and The Coca-Cola Company works to protect the iconic river and its ecosystems, as well as the Danube tributaries – Sava and Drava.
Additionally, we work closely with the Croatian Ministry of Regional Development, Forestry and Water Management, and local tourist associations along Sava and Drava river basins on raising water protection awareness and promoting the return of social and business activities to our rivers.
Coca-Cola HBC Croatia is also actively participating in the promotion of healthy active lifestyle through Bistra Bike Tour and Bistra Youth Sports Games, closely cooperating with local authorities and tourist associations in all major Croatian cities. and tourist associations.
UN Global Compact
We actively participate in the Croatian network of the UN Global Compact. Local networks are helping to bring the Global Compact to life in different national and cultural contexts.
Coca-Cola HBC Croatia, Coca-Cola Adria and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) have initiated a joint project under the name 'Every drop is important – let's revive the Gacka River', which is dedicated to the protection of water resources in the Gacka River basin and the promotion of water preservation in Croatia.
